Pitch & putt is a fun and economical sport, suitable for players of all ages. After a few lessons and with only three changes of clubs, you can be on the course.
Pitch & Putt can be even be practiced by kids, as strength in hitting the ball is not essential. Round times are extremely short as compared to golf: a tournament lasts just 45 minutes if done on 9 holes.
Tournaments are usually on 9 or 18 holes; sometimes is possible to reduce the competitions to 6 holes. Pitch & Putt has its own handicap system, so women and men can compete together, without any age limitations.
Pitch & Putt is an excellent opportunity to improve your game around the green.
The course: 90 meters maximum hole length; 40-90 meters range; all par 3.
The maximum length allowed for the entire course (18 holes) is 1200 meters.
The equipment required is minimal: maximum 3 clubs (a putter and two club of the player’s choosing).
